I am so proud of this community. It is unbelievable what we have accomplished. This community has raised over $400 for Breast Cancer, $10,000 for PTO, enough food to feed 170 families, over $1500 for Adrienne, a student in the Stanford hospital, and lastly, I had 3 5th grade boys come to me and ask if they can sell Santa Grams and Tshirts to raise money for the Caughlin Fire Families. I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this school and community.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the Holidays. Remember, TIME is more important than money. ;0)
That is great to hear!
ReplyDeleteI am especially pleased to hear that so much money was raised for Adrienne and her family. She is in my daughter's class, and they think about her all the time. So proud to have my children at SSES!
I just wanted to thank the Cub Scouts and parents who were able to come in on Friday when school was closed due to the fire. With their help, we were able to quickly get all of the food out of the classrooms so that it could be delivered to needy families in time for Thanksgiving. Way to go, scouts!
